Generational Transition

Identity, trauma, and secret violence — a trans pole dancer and a serial-killing grandfather collide in a story soaked in silence and blood.

About the Film

Mila, a trans woman working in drag as a pole dancer, finds herself unknowingly drawn into the path of her estranged grandfather — an aging man living with a darkness buried beneath decades of repression.

As a child, he was sexually abused by his uncle, who dressed him in wigs and girls’ clothing during the assaults. Growing up in a culture of silence, he never spoke of the trauma. But the pain never left — it transformed into hatred, shame, and eventually murder.

*Generational Transition* is a brutal meditation on inherited trauma, queerness, and the echoes of unspoken violence. It asks what happens when the past is buried too deep to heal — and whether it can ever be exorcised.
